I received the following information from Council Member Barrys office. Paper bus transfers will no longer be available after 01/29/2011.
Please note that Metro will continue to sell the weekly bus pass through the end of January with the last available paper transfer expiring on January 29th.
To ensure that you receive the information you require to assist your community prior to the actual elimination, the orientation sessions have been rescheduled to Friday, January 21, 2011.
We strongly encourage you to attend one of the following sessions:
- Friday, January 21, 2011 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm: or
- Monday, January 21, 2011 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm.
Kindly RSVP at 202-637-7000 by Friday, January 14, 2011. These sessions will take place at Metro’s Jackson Graham Building located at 600 Fifth Street, NW, Washington, DC. This location is wheelchair accessible and a Spanish language interpreter will be available during both information sessions.
